Non-homologated, the QD exhaust modular system manifolds are perfectly interchangeable with the original manifolds, and, though they are ideally completed with the titanium QD terminal, they can be assembled together with the original exhaust, as well. Great torque, great power and little noise.
QD manifolds are the outcome of many years of racing, and can be considered among the most highly-performing, high-tech exhaust plants for the BMW Twin, since they increase its power up to 5.4 HP*. When you substitute the manifolds, the whole exhaust plant will no longer be homologated for use on road because of the elimination of the catalyst. In any case, substitution may turn out to be indispensable, should you undertake travels to countries when the availability of unleaded petrol is not ensured. Moreover, increases in power over the whole arc of delivery - or output - can be helpful, if you foresee undertaking travels with full load.
